Yut Nori

Sabbath evening, we got together for a year-end party with some of the church members and played a traditional Korean game called Yut Nori. (Yut is the name of the game and nori means game in Korean.) The game is played in two teams, and the team members take turns throwing four sticks onto the floor. The way the sticks land determines what the score is. Each stick is flat on one side, so it can either land on the flat side or on the rounded side. You can read more about the game here. Here are a few pictures from that evening.

  2. Learning traditional games is really a fun treat to me. Will you teach us when you return state-side?
